EQUIPTEX "Clear-Flo" filter cartridges are manufactured in standard length of 4 7/8", 5", 9 3/4", 10" and 19 7/8" - Special length are available. All materials used meet or exceed FDA approval standards.

Our wide range of "Clear-Flo" filter cartridges cover all of your needs, and are available in two basic designs:

TASTE/ODOR/SEDIMENT- FOR COLD WATER ONLY
ACTIVATED CARBON FILTER CARTRIDGES : Effectively remove objectionable chlorine taste, foul odors and much of the color and suspended matter visible in potable water. Filtered water is sparkling clean.

C-1 HD, C-2 HD:

This heavy duty 2 3/4" O.D. filter cartridge has been made by a unique wet forming process which allows for dual-filtration in a true depth type construction. The pre-washed, finely pulverized, activated carbon assure visibly clean water and a longer life filter cartridge. Rated at a nominal 10 micron, this is a superior cartridge.( Consult sectional view)

C-1 STD, C-2 STD:

This standard duty 2 1/2" O.D. filter cartridge is designed and manufactured to meet normal filtration requirements. This activated charcoal construction is equal to other cartridges available. This design allows for nominal 20 micron flitration. C-1 9 3/4" long, C-2 4 7/8" long

DIRT/RUST FILTER CARTRIDGES: Provide for maximum filtration of solids such as sand, dirt, rust, silt and algae. This type of filter cartridge is designed and manufactured utilizing various methods and materials to assure optimum solid retention. All standard cartridges are 9 3/4" long.

S-1:

Resin impregnated pleated paper for use with hot/cold water rated at 200 F -nominal rating 20 micron. Offers two to three times the life of cellulose or string wound type cartridge. Flow rate 10 GPM with 2.4 PSI pressure drop. Standard length 9 3/4".

R-30:

Pleated polyester cartridges with a polypropylene core at 30 micron nominal filtration. This cartridge can be rewashed and reused a number of times.

P-5:

Spun polypropylene fibers provides 5 micron (extra fine) filtration. Features depth type construction with polypropylene diameter. Standard cartridge is 9 3/4" long and rated for 10 GPM water flow.

CS-1:

Alpha cellulose and man-made fibers which are heat bonded to a rigid porous polypropylene core ( 1: dia.) with a total diameter of 2 3/4" of true depth filtration. The dual construction allows for maximum dirt holding capacity. The nominal 15-20 micron rating assure sparkling clear water. Standard length 9 3/4".

W-10:

Yarn-Wound (string) polyprpylene or bleached cotton fiber wound on a 1" dia. polypropylene core, and is available in 2" to 3" diameter.
